So what is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an amazing tool that can change thought patterns (habits) at a subconscious level and can clear phobias, fears, anxiety, trauma, PTSD and all manner of unproductive mental patterns that Make peoples lives miserable.

Hypnosis utilises natural trance states to communicate with the emotional subconscious mind aka the mind beneath. Hypnosis is not mind control or a truth serum and you can’t get stuck in it. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind closely related to R.E.M. sleep. The visualisations ¬†experienced in hypnosis are like realistic day dreams. People in hypnosis look so relaxed they appear to be asleep but they are not. They are so focussed on the hypnotherapist’s voice and suggestions everything else around them becomes unimportant.

Unhelpful thought patterns are learned and stored  in the subconscious. These habitual patterns are difficult to override consciously and can become very damaging, affecting everyday thoughts and actions. The good news is that by using  Hypnosis these destructive patterns can be changed for much better patterns allowing us to live a healthier and happier life. This is what I do as a hypnotist, change thought patterns.

If the issue is a thought problem prescription drugs will not fix them permanently, they will only mask them in the short term. Hypnosis deals with thought problems directly at a subconscious level and can be extremely effective at changing these thought patterns and make us feel better very quickly.
